Save the Children's efforts for children in Ukraine!
The situation in Ukraine is urgent and Save the Children is helping with the most necessary. Save the Children helps children both in Ukraine, along the border and in Sweden. They are there all the way. They distribute food, water and protect children who have been separated from their parents in the chaos. They are setting up child-friendly places where children can play and and recover from their terrible experiences. We're proud to support these efforts.

Stena and The Non-Violence Project Foundation continue and deepen their collaboration. In connection with UN Day on October 24, Stena and the Non-Violence Project Foundation announce an expanded collaboration on the international peace and non-violence symbol “The Knotted Gun”. Today, a unique series of sculptures was unveiled at Stena’s head office in Gothenburg. The sculptures are created from Stenanium®, a metal developed by Stena Recycling, produced from, among other things, recycled weapons.

The Galicia, the first of three ships in the E-Flexer class ordered by Brittany Ferries was delivered on September 3. The vessel is the third E-Flexer of nine ordered by Stena RoRo from the Chinese shipyard CMI Jinling (Weihai). The Galicia will be chartered by Brittany Ferries on a long-term basis and has been especially adapted to the wishes of the French ferry company.

Stena Line has reached an important milestone in its major new fleet investment programme with the steel cutting of a third E-Flexer RoPax ship to be deployed on its Irish Sea routes. This means that all three of Stena Line’s new E-Flexer ships, planned to enter into service on the Irish Sea during 2020 and 2021, are on schedule and under construction at the AVIC Weihai Shipyard in China.
