This week Stena Bulk presented a new prototype vessel called IMOFlexMAX. This is the next generation product and chemical tanker which will be able to reduce greenhouse emissions by more than 25% compared to modern product tankers.

Stena Bulk is gearing up its sustainability focus by installing a mobile carbon capture system on the company’s IMOIIMAX tanker Stena Impero. When up and running,
the equipment is expected to capture 1,000 kg of CO2 per hour, equivalent to the emissions from 100 petrol-powered cars over the same amount of time.
