SUSTAINABILITY IN FOCUS WHEN
STENA ADMINISTRATORS MET
On 9 October, 30 administrators from the entire Stena Sphere met in Gothenburg for team-building and to learn more about sustainability from a global perspective.
The administrators met at Stena’s headquarters for lunch and lectures by
Emma Aaben from Stena AB and Jessica Lind Petrén from Stena Metall.
“It was an interesting presentation of how Stena’s companies work with and are influenced by sustainability issues. It also covered the UN’s overall climate goals and sustainability from a global perspective,” says Jeanette Johansson, CEO Secretary at Stena AB, convening for the network meetings.
The day continued at the Thorskog Castle outside Gothenburg where attendees had the opportunity to take a history walk on the grounds and participate in team-building activities that included a music quiz with live music and dinner.
“One of the purposes of our meetings is to get to know each other better so that we collaborate more efficiently in our day-to-day work,” says Jeanette. “Also important are learning new things by immersing ourselves in current topics and spreading the Stena spirit.”
During the evening, two of the administrators were thanked for their many years of service at Stena – Kerstin Lovén at Stena RoRo and Annika Stjernberg at Fastighetsbolaget Josefina.
